Being a Christian does not begin with what we do, but with God who calls. It is a life of daily conversion: turning away from sin and returning to Him, again and again. You don’t learn that all at once. This page helps you on your way.

Start with the Bible

God speaks through His Word. Read a little every day, preferably at a fixed time. The Gospel of John is a good place to begin. Read slowly and ask God to help you understand.

Find a church

Faith is not lived alone. Look for a Bible-faithful congregation near you, where God’s Word is preached faithfully. There you will meet others walking the same road. Don’t hesitate to simply walk in.

Learn to pray

Prayer is speaking with God. You don’t need fine words. The Lord Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13); it is a good example to start with.

Ask your questions

Doubts and questions are part of faith. Take them to your minister, an elder or someone you trust. You can also ask your question online.
